Calender update.

Thankyous.

I would like to start this newsletter with some thankyous, firstly to the committee members for their hard work throughout 2009 also to Marcus Bohm for his generous donation of desserts at our Christmas party, to Geoff Brown and William Curry for their help in the running of the matches and to all those members who help with the patching and smooth running of the stages.

Attendance Sheets.

A timely reminder that we will require your attendance sheets for any competitions or practices you have had outside the regular club comps.

We MUST have these by JANUARY 31^st 2010 to enable us to complete our report to Licensing services on time. Late entries will not be accepted.

Family and friends day.

At our March club comp on the 14^th Mar 2010 we are encouraging you to bring a family member or friend to come and try shooting, the club will supply the guns and ammunition and Oakleigh pistol club has generously agreed to waive the visitor’s fee for your friends and family. Your family and friends will need to bring 2 forms of ID and fill out the required paperwork. If they are under the age of 18 we will require consent from the legal guardian/parent.

Please help in the planning for this event by booking a place, this will allow us to provide adequate resources for the day.

Holster Qualification Courses.

The dates for the holster qualification courses in 2010 are as follows.

April 11^th,  July 11^th and October 9^th.

The cost is $35 plus ammunition, this will include your match entry, which you should have time to shoot after the course. Email me to book your place.

Safety Courses.

The dates for the Safety courses in 2010 are as follows.

February 14^th, May 13^th and September 12^th

The cost of the course is $50 and includes the ammo you will need to complete the course. It will start at 10am so don’t be late. If you need to do a safety course to get your handgun licence you must contact me to book a place and supply a non refundable deposit of $20.

Coaching

If there is enough interest I will run another coaching clinic in 2010, contact me directly to register for this clinic.
